What makes a proposal accurate

• Drawings or a BOQ. Isometrics for piping, layouts and sections for civil and ground works.
• The specification. Or at minimum the standards the work must satisfy.
• The programme. Particularly any shutdown or possession window the work has to fit inside.
• Site constraints. Access, permits, working hours, adjacent operations and induction requirements.
• Ground information. Borehole logs and water table data for any excavation, shoring or dewatering scope.
• Material supply. Whether material is free-issue or in our scope.

What you get back

• A priced proposal with the scope stated explicitly, including what is excluded
• The method statement, in outline at tender stage and in full on award
• The plant schedule — which machines, and whether they are ours or hired
• The programme, with the critical path identified
• Any assumptions we have had to make, stated separately so they can be corrected
