We take the scope around the scope. Every interface between separate subcontractors is somewhere a programme leaks — so we hold the whole package and the responsibility that comes with it.
Piping & Process Systems
HDPE fusion from 20 to 1200 mm, GRP, FRP and GRE composite piping, and process pipework in carbon steel, stainless and alloy.

We weld the full range, on our own machines
Most contractors cover part of the diameter range and sub-hire the rest. Our fleet runs from 20 mm to 1200 mm without a gap, and the machines that matter most carry current third-party calibration.
Butt fusion and electrofusion
20 mm – 1200 mm
Eleven machines across a continuous range, four electrofusion control units with calibration certificates current to March 2027, plus extrusion, wedge and hot-air welding in support. Machine schedules and calibration certificates are issued with every quotation on request.

Annual maintenance contract
Thirteen years inside Al Dur
We have held the annual maintenance contract for the Al Dur Power and Water Plant since 2013, working two shifts a day alongside the operator — through the change of operator, and without a break in cover.
Continuous since
Appointed under Al-Ezzel O&M (ENGIE) and retained through the change of operator. The contract renews annually and has never lapsed.
Shifts a day
A standing crew on site rather than a call-out arrangement, which is why we can be stood down and restarted at the operator’s convenience.
Disciplines on contract
RO membrane replacement, GRP lamination and composite repair, mechanical works and plant civils — all inside a live plant.
Desalination is unforgiving about maintenance: seawater at pressure, chemically aggressive service and no appetite for an extension to the window. Everything we do elsewhere in piping, composites and live-plant work is built on that discipline. References for the contract are available on request.

Mobilisation
We do not wait for hire availability
A tagged asset register of 333 items. When your shutdown window opens, our plant is in our yard — not on somebody else's schedule.
Dewatering pumps
6" and 4" diesel sets on Kirloskar engines, with six sedimentation tanks and over 400 m of discharge hose.
Vibro hammers
ICE Netherlands, Alkor Korea and a 22 Ton SY220 — enough for parallel working, and a spare when one goes down.
Excavators
Hyundai 220LC-9S 21.5 T pair and a Fiat Kobelco 21.1 T, with backhoe loader and rock breaker attachments.
Butt fusion machines
Continuous 20–1200 mm coverage, with third-party calibration on the machines that carry the critical work.
Electrofusion units
Fox Eurotech and Ritmo Elektra, calibration certificates current through March 2027.
Gas detection sets
Multigas and H₂S monitors, positive pressure respirators and tripod rescue winch for confined space entry.
Also mobilised and ready
Quantities are what sits in our yard, not what we can source. Sheet pile is held in 6 m sections. Everything here is available wet or dry hired when it is not committed to our own sites.
How we got here
From one reverse osmosis contract to eight disciplines
Aljanawi Welding and Fabrication founded.
Established as Saaj Technical Mechanical Contracting, maintaining reverse osmosis plant.
Incorporated as a W.L.L. enterprise under CR 109332-1.
Certified to ISO 9001 and 45001 by TÜV Rheinland.
Eight specialist disciplines, 333 tagged assets and 60+ technical staff.
