Do you prefabricate or build in place?

Prefabricate wherever the drawing and the access allow. Spools come to site as numbered assemblies against an isometric, which turns site work into fitting and closing welds. In-place fabrication is kept for what genuinely cannot be prefabricated.

Can you work during a plant shutdown?

Yes, and most of our process piping work is shutdown work. We have maintained operating desalination plant in Bahrain since 2011 on a two-shift basis.

Which materials do you weld?

Carbon steel, stainless 304 and 316, and duplex and super duplex for seawater service. Welding is to approved procedures, and WPS, PQR and welder certificates are provided upon request.

Do you handle the structural steel around the piping?

Yes. Supports, platforms, access frames and pipe racks are fabricated and installed as part of the same package rather than let separately.

Process piping inside an operating plant is governed by the outage, not by the quantity of pipe. The work that can be done beforehand should be, and the work that must happen in the window should arrive as components rather than as material.

Spools are fabricated, inspected and coated in the workshop, then delivered to site as numbered assemblies against an isometric. Site work reduces to positioning, fitting and closing welds — fewer permits, less scaffold time and far less exposure to weather and access restrictions.

Live plant work
