Building construction
Residential and non-residential building work, with the structural, protective and MEP scopes held inside the same package rather than let around it.
The argument for using us on a building is the same one that applies to our industrial work: the specialist scopes that normally sit outside the main contract — waterproofing, protective coatings, flooring, structural repair, insulation, MEP — are ours, so the interfaces between them are internal rather than contractual.
Scope
- Residential buildings, villas and mixed-use developments
- Commercial, industrial and other non-residential buildings
- Substructure, foundations and ground floor construction
- Reinforced concrete frame, blockwork and structural steel
- Roofing, waterproofing and thermal envelope
- Internal and external finishes
- Refurbishment, fit-out and change of use works
- Pumping station, reservoir and sewer structure civils
Specialist scopes held in-house
- Waterproofing — basements, podiums, roofs and wet areas
- Resin and industrial flooring
- Protective coatings to structural steel and concrete
- Passive fire protection to the structural frame
- Thermal insulation
- MEP packages — plumbing, electrical, HVAC and fire systems
- Concrete repair and structural strengthening on refurbishment
Groundworks
Excavation, shoring and dewatering are our own disciplines rather than a subcontract. On constrained sites in Bahrain, where the water table is shallow and neighbouring structures are close, that matters more than it does elsewhere. See sheet pile shoring and dewatering.
