MEP services

MEP is where a building programme is usually won or lost. The services are installed last, into space that other trades have already occupied, against a handover date that does not move. Coordination matters more than any individual installation.

Our advantage here is that the mechanical side of MEP is the same discipline as our industrial piping work. Pipework, supports, pressure testing and documented handover do not change because the building is an office rather than a plant.

• Plumbing and sanitary — supply, drainage, fixtures and connections
• Electrical — containment, cabling, wiring, lighting, small power and alarm systems
• HVAC — ductwork, equipment setting, chilled water pipework and commissioning support
• Fire sprinkler systems to the approved design
• Steam, condensate and thermal fluid pipework
• Industrial media connections and equipment hook-up

How we prefer to work

Prefabricated wherever the drawing allows. Pipe spools, support assemblies and containment runs made up off site arrive as components to be fitted rather than built in place — which matters most precisely where MEP is hardest, in occupied ceilings and congested plant rooms.
