Electrical installation
Containment, cable, termination and test — installed to the approved drawing and handed over with the results that prove it.
Electrical installation is judged at the test stage, and the test results come from decisions taken much earlier — cable sizing, segregation, containment fill, and whether terminations were made properly the first time.
Scope
- Cable containment — tray, ladder, trunking, basket and conduit
- LV cabling, glanding and termination
- Final circuit wiring, small power and socket outlets
- Distribution boards, isolators and sub-main installation
- Internal and external lighting, including emergency lighting
- Fire alarm and detection system installation
- Earthing, bonding and lightning protection conductors
- Data and communications containment and cabling
Testing and certification
- Continuity of protective conductors and ring final circuits
- Insulation resistance testing
- Polarity and earth fault loop impedance
- RCD operation and functional testing
- Emergency lighting duration testing
- Certification and schedules of test results issued at handover
Industrial scope
- Instrumentation containment, cabling and loop support
- Motor and equipment power connections
- Hazardous area containment and cabling to the approved classification
- Cable pulling, routing and identification in plant environments
Scope boundary: installation is executed to the consultant’s or client’s approved design. Where authority connection, design certification or a licensed signatory is required, the applicable route is established for the specific project.

Common questions
What clients ask before awarding
Do you provide the electrical design?
Installation is executed to the approved design issued by the consultant or client. Where a project needs design certification or an authority connection, the applicable route is established for that project rather than assumed.
What test results do you issue?
Continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth fault loop impedance, RCD operation and functional tests, with certification and schedules of results issued at handover. Emergency lighting duration tests where applicable.
Can you work in hazardous areas?
Containment and cabling to the approved area classification, yes. Equipment certification and inspection requirements are confirmed per project against the applicable classification.
Send us the drawings. We will tell you what it takes.
BOQ, isometrics, specifications or a full tender package. Acknowledged within one working day, with the machine schedule and programme in the offer.
