Plumbing is unforgiving of poor setting-out. Falls that are approximately right drain slowly and block; pipework that is routed around other trades rather than coordinated with them ends up inaccessible for the life of the building.

Scope

  • Hot and cold water supply distribution in PPR, PEX, copper and galvanised steel
  • Soil, waste and vent drainage in uPVC, HDPE and cast iron
  • Sanitary ware installation, fixing and connection
  • Water tanks, booster sets, pressure vessels and pump installation
  • Water heaters, calorifiers and associated pipework
  • Rainwater and surface drainage within the building envelope
  • Valves, strainers, backflow prevention and metering

Testing and handover

  • Hydrostatic pressure testing of supply systems against the specified test pressure
  • Air and water testing of drainage, with falls verified
  • Chlorination and flushing of potable systems where specified
  • Commissioning of pumps, controls and pressure sets
  • As-built marked up and a test pack issued at handover

Industrial connections

What clients ask before awarding

Which pipe materials do you install?
PPR, PEX, copper and galvanised steel for supply; uPVC, HDPE and cast iron for drainage. The specification or the consultant's drawing decides; where neither does, we advise against the service, pressure and temperature.
Do you test and commission?
Yes. Supply systems are hydrostatically tested to the specified pressure, drainage is air and water tested with falls verified, potable systems are chlorinated and flushed where specified, and a test pack is issued at handover.
Can you take plumbing as a standalone package?
Yes, or as part of a wider MEP or fit-out scope. Where it sits alongside our mechanical work the coordination is simpler, but it is not a condition.
